Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow...

"I hope you where those red bows in your hair and I think I've got some mistletoe around here somewhere..."

Two Days Until Christmas!! Oh yeeaahhh!!

State: Loungin on my bed, I think Im gonna have a shower after this...I am just so happy that we are off school now!!
Book: Well I still haven't finished The Riddle but I stopped reading that a while ago. I will finish it eventually. Other than that, nothing...
Music: Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine by The Killers I love the guitar part at the beginning!
Interesting Thing That Happened Yesterday: Because I haven't done anything yet today I will talk about my last day of school of 2006! wow...9 more days of this year!! Okay sop yesterday we had 45 minute classes and all the classes were done by 12:00. I skipped first to do a chem assignment then during second we had a Bop It tournament!! sooo much fun!! Though the Twist It twister thing was messed up and hated Liam(*sigh* *thum thump* (the quickened beating of my heart)) In vocals we had a theory test on intervals and inversions, relatively easy and then in chem we handed in the assignment I mentioned earlier and did this weird activity where we read a story and had to find all the elements from the tabl of elements in the story. It was fun acutally and they were sometimes hidden in other words. Ex: cryptic was Krypton and "he died nigh on"... was Neon. Jenny and I were parteners and came in first place! Bonus Marks!! Oh yeah!!
Interesting Thing I Will Do Today: Going to Jess's for a Christmas Party and I have to drop sheet music off to Vanessa at the bulk barn...
Tomorrow and Beyond: I am going to my uncle's for the Rennick Family Chirstmas...not really looking forward to that because I dont like many people on that side of my family. And for Christmas Eve and Day we go to my Nana and Gramp's house for Christmas with my mom's fam. My second cousins are gonn abe there and I barely get to see them so Im exctied about that. I like my mom's side of the family and I have "my room" there and stuff like that. I just feel alot more comfortable there.

In Conclusion, I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas with friends and family anf remember the true reason for this special holiday. It's all about Jesus, baby! Keep that in mind as you are inching toward that delightful post-Christmas dinner coma...just before your grandma's slightly strange Christmas pudding is served and your little cousin's ask you to come play with their new christmas presents...

Have yourself a merry little Christmas/ Let your heart be light/ From now on our troubles will be out of sight/ Have yourself a merry little Christmas/ Make the Yuletide gay/ From now on our troubles will be miles away/ Here we are as in olden days/ Happy golden days of Yore/ Faithful friends who are dear to us/ Gather near to us once more/ Through the years we all will be together/ If the fates allow/ Hang a shining star upon the highest bough/ And have yourself a merry little Christmas now/ Through the years we all will be together/ If the fates allow/ Hang a shining star upon the highest bough/ And have yourself a merry little Christmas now

Merry Christmas Eveyrone!

I'm kinda boring...

"As I put this star on the very top, let's hold hands and remember all that we gained from His loss."
8 DAYS (give or take) UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!

State: Not looking forward to school tomorrow...watching Mean Girls on TBS. It's been on alot lately.
Book: None...too much music stuff going on lately.
Music: none...but speaking of music, I have to sing Messiah on monday and tuesday night and I was supposed to practice this weekend but I forgot the music at school and I am also being tested on it on either monday or tuesday as well. Hmm ... I just had a big craving for a PB & J sandwich...oh wait nevermind.
Interesting thing that happened today: I ate cake. It had something crunchy in it. It was weird...

Santa Clause 2 is on Disney and I dont really like this one. I saw the third one with Em Seana and Joel a couple weeks ago and well, it was better than the 2nd one, but I mean nothing beats the original...Okay Im very boring today. I really need something interesting to happen to me so that I can write about it. I think Im going to go shower...Cya later!

Christmas Countdown!!

"As I put this star on the very top, let's hold hands and remember all that we gained from His loss."

Happy Half-Birthday To Me...

"It's beginning to smell alot like Christmas."

State: getting a little tired...i have been reading for the past couple hours...
Book: THE FOURTH BOOK IN THE BLOODY JACK SERIES!!! Only my favorite! It call In the Belly of the Bloodhound and is by L. A. Meyer. I was in chapters on saturday when i was christmas shopping and saw the book and got soo excited! I just finished Part II and Im on page 331/515. I have this weird habbit in which I read the last sentence or paragraph, depending on length, first before I start the book. And what Im getting at is it is obvious that there is going to be another book from the way this one ends! Im thuper duper exthited.
Music: Jamie by Dashboard Confessional. I love this song.
Boy: none but here's a a great video of Travis Wall dancing, of course! He is just soooo talented and he has so much fun. How could I not LOVE him?!?!
Interesting thing that happened today: I had a dress rehersal for my Peterborough Children's Chorus concert which is tomorrow night. Im jsut so busy with choir and singing things lately. I need to get Vanessa some music for my recital in January. I have to figure out what Im going to do about times to preform. I have a concert tomorrow, and Messiah rehersal wednesday, and trip to Murray St. Church for lunch, lecture, and rehersal, then band on Sunday, and then I have Messiah shows on Monday and Tuesday. I still need to learn alot of the Messiah music and I need to memorise my recital pieces and I have no idea how to pronounce German words and I have a Chem test on Thursday and no time to study...though I guess I could have been for the past could hours...but what is the fun in that?! and i have a lab tomorrow and the report in dur on wednesday but because my concert takes up the whole evening i wont have time to do it...So that is my busy and stupid life right now. I just want to sleep the next week and a half away...that would be very nice indeed...*SIGH*

Charlie the Unicorn

"Please let me hold your cold sub-sero hand in this icy winter wonderland."

wow i just noticed how cheesy these lyrics are...Oh well they are cute anyways.

Music: High and Low by Nathan Finochio. He is soo good! I love his music and his voice though some of his lyrics are cheesy too. But it works!

Girlmore Girls is on tonight! Luke and Christopher have controversial encounter so Ive heard...
Okay so my sister was told to watch this video called Charlie the Unicorn by her friend and then she showed it to me. I haven't laughed so hard since...well prolly last weekend sometime but that's not important. But it is hillarious. Okay well you better enjoy it...and it's much better than the milk and cereal thing...ya I know it was boring...but I thought it was entertaining...Anyways...

Weekend denile...

"A pearly glaze that's covering the dead and frosty grass..."

State: Watching a rerun of So You Think You Can Dance on which the Pussycat Dolls are singing Buttons...those girls actually have good voices though they are scantilly clad and wear funny flappy things on their butts...
Book: I just finished Wings Over Delft which was alright though it had a crap ending. I guess it makes sense because of the way the series goes. It would help if you had read the book.
Music: None.
Boy: They are just so confusing. I am really just weirded out by guys in gerneral and Im kinda wishing that Travis Wall would just walk out of the TV and ask me to marry him...him or Rupert Grint...I was watching a bit of the third Harry Potter on TV earlier...
Interesting thing that happened today: Uh...I ate a weird vegetable...Still not sure what it was.

So there are weird incidents going on that confuse me and I dont want to go back to school. I live for the weekends! haha...I am in weekend denile and it take me until wednesday to get back into the weekday groove. Im tired...oh i went to the Kaos Birthdya Bash concert thing last night. There was a guy with cool shoes there...he unfortunately got them in florida and i would have to order them online...I bought Nathan Finochio's EP. It's pretty good and he's got an amazing voice. Okay well that's all for now...

Blurry...

"With stars falling on this old narrow path..."

State: bed, as usual, grey's anatomy is on soon...
Book: I just finished the third book in the Uglies trilogy today. I think that the entire series is amazing!! Read it people! Great recomendation Rachel! The second book might be my favorite. I am definately going to have to reread them because I went through them so fast in the first place: 3 books in 4 days! They were so good I couldnt stop! These exclamation marks are starting to get annoying!... There's a book that Jenny wants me to read but I think I might take a break for at least a day or two. I can only take so much reading in a week. It can get overwhelming.
Music: None.
Interesting thing that happened: I started writting a blog entry and then realized I didn't really have much to say considering my life has ben a blur this week. All I can really remember is reading...we had impact yesterday...I watched some TV at some point...oh I saw the newest episode of Veronica Mars today when I got home...

A New Beggingin!!...

"It came upon a midnight clear: the feeling that we all know once it's here."

I have realized what Im going to do! I am doing CHRISTMAS MUSIC!! I love christmas and thanks to my darling friend Emily (you can visit her blog here) who posted about Christmas song I decided I am going to use the song It's Beginning to Smell Alot Like Christmas by Hello Kelly! It's such a cute song and I really like the band for the most part. This makes me happy, especially since it snowed last night...though it's prolly gone by now. I havent looked outside for a couple hours. Man! There are so many Christmas songs I could use... Im so excited! Yipee!!

Here are some slightly random picutre of my while i was in Vancouver last February. On the top is Liz and I. That's my hand too. It was a long bus ride okay... that was on the way back from Victoria back to Van. The other one is just of me and my supah dupah necklace that I bought there but broke when a dropped it in the bathroom at Kingdom Bound. I was sooo sad!

The End of Forever Young...

"So many dreams are swinging out of the blue. We let them come true."

And that's all folks...C'est Fini!...I must find a new song now. It's kinda sad really...The song this blog is named after is finally finished. Im thinking Wish I Was Dead Pt. 2 by Shout Out Loud but it's pretty short and I would have to find another one soon after. Hmmm...I've been searching for something...maybe Honey and The Moon ... Okay because I can't decide and can't find a song that has completely suitable lyrics that are all warm and cozy and G-rated (not that they have swearing just like, stalking or drinking inuendos or something) I have decided I will just write one or two lines from a different song each time or maybe a few lines of one song for 3 entries or whatever. If you dont get what I mean you'll understand soon enough. Okay now that that is decided I must continue on with the usual stuff.

State: Im home sick today. Yesterday I was cold basically the whole day and this morning I woke up warm yet quite nautious. Now Im cold and feeling ill. Fun, eh? And interestingly enough, my sister came home from school with insane cramps. It's a sick day and la maison de Rennick. How french does my last name sound.
Book: Still on the Riddle and havent read much. Im getting bored of it cuz its all the same. They travel for a bit, fight some evil demon type thing, stay at someones house or a school, then journey some more. It's just too repetitive and it's getting old. I doubt I'll buy the third one or fourth. I forget how many are in the series. One comes out each year I believe. I also started reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld yesterday. It, on a lighter note, is soooo good. I could barely put it down. Im on 370/425 so I want to get crackin and finish it today. Maybe if Im feeling better I'll head to chapters and get the second and third ones. The sequels are Pretties and Specials. The titles make much more sense when you read the books. They are soooo good and I would definately recomend them to EVERYONE!
Music: Maybe I'm Amazed by Jem...such a sweet song! Sweet as in cute and nice, not as is great or cool. I hate when people say sweet, that and gay. I cant stand when people use those words out of context.
Boy: ... Okay Im not writting this one anymore unless there is something important to say...
Interesting thing that happened today: I found a site a while back that had full episodes of Veronica Mars and I watched episode 7 this morning. It was such a good one!! I cant wait for the next two because that will finish off the first mystery. But then they start the hiatus which will make me sad. Lost is already on one until February I believe. Im just glad they all dont take a break at the same time! I would cry!...I like my TV...
And Im sick but you already know that from above...

Rambling about my thuper duper weekend-to-be...

"So many adventures couldn't happen today; so many songs we forgot to play."
We are almost done this song so I''ll have to choose a new one soon...What will it be?

State: As most times, sitting on my bed ... getting kinda sleepy...
Book: The Riddle by Alison Croggon, page 166/460. It's slow but Ill finish it when I have time... The other book, Reckless I finished that day and that series is actually really cute. There is deeper messages underlying the shallow relationships and stuff. It's very focused on clothes and wealth but they are a good escape from the more serious novels I have been reading lately...Yes...Vampires are serious...
Music: My new favorite song Your Ex-Lover Is Dead by Stars. It is soooo good and I love the girls voice and the range of instruments. I got it off the The O.C. Mix 5. They have such good music on that show even if I don't actually watch the show very often. I have better things to watch like Grey's Anatomy! *smile*
Boy: This topic can be exhausted...I suppose it would be Alex from Grey's Anatomy. I just cant get enough of that guy!
Interesting thing that happened today: At lunch Seana and I (and Hannah who came a bit later) had a table set up outside the caf(eteria) trying to get people to write brief letters to save KAOS Radio. I'm not going into details about that issue, if you've heard of it then you'll know what I'm talking about. In short, Chum is trying to take over KAOS's frequency and KAOS needs 500 to a thousand letters from people saying they listen to the radio station. From our school alone we got 103!! That was so incredible for us to accomplish that!! We had the table set up for the past two days and it went really well, more so yesterday than today but still!! So that is what we have been up too of late.

Tomorrow, Impact is handing out cookies to people in the hallways. The ones my mom baked are super delicious!! I cant stop eating them. They are sorta like ginger snaps I guess. Mmmm. So this weekend: Em Eagleson and Liz Morrison are coming to youth group. That's awesome! Me and Seana and Em Hunt are going out for supper before hand. Saturday is the final Audio Adrenaline concert in Canada EVER!!! That is going to be awesome and thuper duper fun!! Then I'm going to my grandparents on Sunday for my Gramps's birthday which was yesterday. I have no idea how old he is now...Who really keeps track of their grandparents age, unless of course their grandparent lives with them in which case you would most likely know sed grandparents name...Okay Ill leave you to get back to your life now. Have fun!

Oh and here is something I found on YouTube which I thought was entertaining. The guy on the left has the funniest expressions!!

What is going on?!?!

"Youth are like diamonds in the sun, and diamonds are forever."

State: Chillin in bed and generally being lazy...
Book: The Riddle by Alison Croggon, 149/460. As you can see I havent read very much of it in the past couple weeks. I also started another book today: Reckless by Cecily von Ziegesar. She has a crazy name. It is an It Girl novel and is one of my sad shallow guilty pleasure reads. It is the third in the series and they are all very short and the entire book only occurs within a week or two. They are from the same authors as Gossip Girl novels. It crazy how fast these books come out. There is a new gossip girl and a new it girl every season it seems. She is a dedicated writter that Cecily von Ziegesar.
Music: None at the moment but I now have Christmas music on my iPod. Only 42 days left. Im starting a Christmas Countdown!!
Boy: I will marry Travis...it is just a fact...
Interesting thing that happened today: I was supposed to go on a trip with my chemistry class. I checked the permission form to find out the time and it said 8:15 so I got to school at 8:05 to be early. There was no bus or people from my class around so I went to the office and told them I was supposed to be going on a trip and couldnt find anyone. Another science teacher was in the office and said, "Oh, they left already. They left at 8." By this time is was about 8 15. I was just like, AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!...I was so confused and mad...Why didnt I know about this? What happened? Im so confused and I still dont get why they left so early. So both my afternoon class are cancelled and I had a test first periode and a spare second. I didnt take the test cuz I wasnt ready and just decided to come home. This sucks. I didnt really want to go on the trip but I mean come on! I paid for it and was definately looking forward to missing some school. What happened...?

TRAVIS WALL!!!!!

Travis Wall is from Season Two of So You Think You Can Dance. Emily you'll love this!

I found this clip of him and he's all passionate and almost in tears cause his mom is there and I was just like....GAHAGFHAH. *Melting* WOW!! This guy is amazing and supah dupah talented, not to mention the fact that he is absolutely gorgeous...*sigh* Travis Wall, you are beautiful!

I have just figured out how to put videos on here so Im going crazy. The next clip is the contemperary dance that Travis and Heidi did. It is amazing! I love when he just slides down the bench and the song is so pretty. Calling You by Celine Dion.

Boringness and Stress

"I don't want to perish like a fadding horse."

State: Watching Lost. What...Kate and something to do with marriage...and a policeman...Man...I looove Sawyer!! *licks lips*
Book: The Riddle by Alison Croggon
Music: Intense crazy stuff on Lost...
Boy: ...
Interesting thing that happened today: nothing...it was an overly long day...

I've decided on my songs for my Vocals recital in January. I hopefully have my accompaniment lined up. Oh right...Echo's dead. That makes me soo sad...I loved that guy! He was so big and protective. Whoa...whos the girl...Sorry, I get so wrapped up in this show. Hmm I don't really have much else to write about. It's like everyone I know is so stressed right now. This are so crazy. Bouts of depression and anxiety and panic attacks...well maybe not to that extreme but certainly many other emotions...
Oh I want to get married now...Too bad I need a guy first...Sorry...Well I dont want to spoil Lost if you havent seen it. Though I might have kinda already. Now my sister is here asking me questions and is being annoying...She's been going through stuff too... Okay enough of this. Im sure you are bored out of your mind if you have read all the way to this point. Haha...Cya

Update...

"It's so hard to get old without a cause."

State:

Im so tired. Supposedly from eating candy though I havent eaten that much since halloween. Hmmm maybe Ill have to cut down. it's just so addicting. It's pretty bad...

Book:

I finished Bloodline a couple days ago and have started reading The Riddle by Alison Croggon. It is the Second Book of Pellinor, which really means the sequel to The Naming. The first one was pretty good though kinda slow at the beggining. So for the second one is good though Ive barely read any of it. page 46/460. Well multiply where I am (page 46) by 10 and you get 460. Well se how it turns out. Ive just had this huge week of reading and now Im slowing down again. It feels like Ive read so much but it really was only two books. I read in spurts. It's weird, but have I mentioned this before. Prolly...

Music:Sun by Mae, from the Album Destination:Beautiful. I love Mae sooo much. I just started l istening to them again after a bit of a break from them. I have spurts in music too. I listen to a band for a while then completely forget about them and listen to something else for a while. I really must update my iPod as I havent for over a week I think. And all that jazz Ive just recently downloaded must go on it.

Boy:

Too much else to think about to get caught up in boys....wow I am a spurty girl. I have boy spurts too. I have this big enthralment of one guy and then sometimes just a bunch of crushes and then I have this huge boy famine or something.

Interesting thing that happened today:

We recorded some jazz songs in vocals today, which was nervewracking but alot of fun in the end. Im anxious to hear how everyone sounded on the recordings. We heard a couple people VERY briefly at the end of class but nothing much, and not myself. I hope we get to hear them tomorrow.

I dont really have much else to comment on. This is just a brief update. Hmm I went to Rachels halloween party on Friday which was fun. Karaoke and Pizza and Candy and Brother's Grim. Then I drove home in the rain at 12...that wasnt at all dull. I actually was travelling off road for bit of the time but that is a whole other story for another day, when I am talking to you in person. And then halloween was at Jess's house and I drove more poeple around that night. Grey's Anatomy is on tonight...I hope. It was on last week but im pretty sure it is on this week. Okay well I think Im done. Im trying to figure out what is going on at youth group and cant find any info on the forum...Hmmm

Books and other SPECTACULAR news...

"Sooner or later they all will be gone. Why dont they stay young?"

State: Laying on my bed, my neck hurts...and my stomach just started to as well...hmmm
Book: Well I read all of New Moon yesterday, all 563 pages of it! It was soooooo good. It is the sequel to Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. It was quite different from the first novel but I won't give anything away! I would say that the story line in Twilight was better than in New Moon but the emotion in the later was so intense I acutally felt it! I cried during the first 50 pages...a couple times...though that could be because I was PMSing...who knows. It was so heart-wrenching though...I just really loved it and couldnt really put it down.
I just started reading Bloodline by Kate Cary a couple minutes ago. page 11/324. It's yet another Vampire book. The fourth Ive read this year (or fifth if you count New Moon). I just looked at the back and it gives a sneak peek to the sequel to of Bloodline called: Bloodline, Book Two: Reckoning. So I hope it's good. It's more along the lines of Dracula bloodline continued, I believe.
Music: We have a return of music, though my stereo is still borken. I am listening to Ready and Waiting to Fall by Mae on my laptop.
Boy: It's difficult to decide. I am weird in that I always develope crushes on characters in books. So it's between Edward and Jacob Black from Twilight and New Moon. You don't see much of Jake in the first book but he is a super important character in the second. I'm leaning more towards Jacob just because of how Edward treated Bella near the beggining of the book...and well if you ahve read it you'll understand I just dont want to give anything away.
Interesting thing that happened today: It was snowing!! AAAANND I drove myself to church because I HAVE ME G2!!! Yes its true, I have my G2. I had to repeat it because it rhymed. I got my liscence on Thrusday. It feels so liberating!! I think I might go rent wedding crashers later today. I've wanted to see it for a while and heard it was thuper funny.

Well, you have been updated on my life now. I hope you enjoyed this breif interuption from whatever it was you were doing. Have a wonderful day.

Pictures!!!

"Some are a melody, some are the beat."

State: Watching Prison Break...I Hate T-Bag!!
Book: None...Taking a break
Music: None...TV
Boy: None...
Interesting thing that happened today: I did 3 practically perfect parrallel parks in a row! I have my G2 test on Thursday.

I keep trying to load pictures but this stupid thing sucks...and by stupid thing I dont actually know what I mean...computer...internet...blogger (no offence cuz I love blogger)...I have tried to lead them so many times and it never works. Oh hey!! It worked this time...okay forget everything I said. Here are pics from our trip to Toronto to the University Fair.

This car had a garden growing in it! There was a guy who was taking pictures of it and he turned and took a picutre of us! It was so creepy...

From left: Svetlana, Hannah, Jess and Me. We were waiting to catch the bus home.
Jess and I...again waiting to catch the bus home. She was actually just waiting with us and then going to her dad's house afterword.
We thought this was humerous because our beloved little Andrea is a chocolate addict.
Seana was obsessed with graffiti when we were in Toronto for some reason. This is just one of many pictures she took.
Svetlana,Anne,Seana,Jess, and Me showing our stuff from the University Fair.
Me and Jess tree huggin'. We just couldn't resist. It was kinda dirty thinking about how many people hugged the tree so we arent actually touching it.
Here are some pics from the Terry Fox Run. Hmmm they keep loading but then I look on the page and they arent there.

Jenny, Moi, and Seana all painted up.

Sam and Joel with tongues out.

From left to right: Girl I dont know (Sam's friend), Mike, Andrea, Boy I dont know (Mike's friend) Me, Sam, Etienne, and Joel. We all look quite funny...

There's another picture but it wont load.

"Westminster Crabby"...

"Some are like water, some are like the heat."

State: Just finished watching Grey's Anatomy, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows. Right up there with Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls and America's Next Top Model. Wow...I watch to much TV. Oh and who can forget friends reruns! Which I am watching now even though I should be doing math homework.
Book: I just finished Twilight tonight and am taking a (very short) break before begining my nest novel which will most likely be Bloodline, yet another vampire book I believe. Ill talk more about it when I have the book infront of me and have acutally started reading it.
Music: None...TV on, duh! haha ;) Ross is getting married! oh right...married to Emily this time. Monica's all anal about being on time, Fibi is super pregnant and using her belly as a table and using people to bring her stuff. Oh London Calling is playing! There's some music for ya.
Boy: Totally over it...boy free at the moment...at every moment acutally.
Interesting thing that happened: I attempted to download the 3rd episode of Veronica Mars but it was weird and didn't work. It made me pretty (in the words of Joey) "Westminster Crabby".

Tomorrow me and my buds are going to have movie night. We have a long list of movies and food and stuff and we stay up all night and just hang out. We all have such busy schedules on the weekends anyways that it takes alot of time and advanced planning. We only get to do it every couple of months. The last one was at begining of the summer and before that um...I dont actually remember but it was a while before that. So Im excited and we're so organised this times it's going to be great. Alrighty so I think that's all for now. Let's see if I can get those Terry Fox pictures uploaded. Nope still not working. Well try again some other time.

Monday, October 16, 2006

It has begun...

I wrote a post yesterday but it didnt work and I got frustrated and didnt want to write anymore. It sucks when that happens...Im starting to get bored with this whole blog thing. Yes it is starting...I have begun to stop posting...Sure Ill do it now and again...Maybe once a week or something. It's just getting tiring. I had a bunch of picutres form Terry Fox on the last one. Maybe Ill post them again....nope didnt work. Okay Ive had enough. im going to go read twilight.

Maxin' and Relaxin'...

"Do you really want to live forever, forever and ever?"

State: Laying in bed, chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool...I'm quite warm from being under blankets. Feel good about math test I did today, Feel bad about Chem test on Friday...
Book: A Crack in the Line by Michael Lawrence, 164/323
Music: Again, my stereo is borken and my iPod is at the end of my bed and therefor to far to reach...but maybe...okay I got it. Ill choose a song for you...Snakes on a Plane by Cobra Starship. Haha this is a pretty good song I guess but the music video sucks and I hate the verses just the hook and chorus and little rap part cuz it's funny. "Oh Im ready for it, come on bring it. So kiss me goodbye...I can see the venom in their eyes."
Boy: William Beckett who is from The Academy Is... but sings the "so kiss me goodbye" part in snakes on a plane. So cute! Donna agrees with me on beautiful boy and good song... *sighs*
Interesting thing that happened today: We had our first Impact meeting which was kinda funny and stressful and bad. We were not nearly orgasnised enough but once it got going which was over halfway into lunch it was good. We had trouble with getting the slideshow started up and I ran all over the school during second period trying to find a projector. Not nearly as many showed up as I hoped but thats okay...

Again I dont have much else to say. Tomorrow is the Terry Fox Run which is always lots of fun. Im gonna dress up all school spirity and I'll get Seana to take a picture or something. Okay well Im off to read a bit more of this lovely book. It's acutally pretty good!

Those crazy hair dressers...

"Forever young, I want to be forever young."

State: Warm, relaxed, in a it's-the-weekend-I'm-lazy mood, slightly tired because I had to get up ealier than expected, can not wait for turkey.
Book: A Crack in the Line by Micheal Lawrence, 2/323...It's the first in The Withern Rise Trilogy which I didnt realize until last night.
Music: None because my stereo is still broken. *I shed a tear.*
Boy: bleasdhech...Boy are stupid (and confusin) throw rocks at them dont forget to aim.
Interesting thin that happened today: I got my hair trimmed this morning. My appointment was for 10 am but the lady was sick so they moved up my appointment a bit and we left the house at about 9 30. Yuck yuck yuck. It's the weekend why dont I get to sleep in this is stupid and hate hairdressers but not really, kinda. I dont expect much from them because there is always something wrong with my hair after its been cut, unless I do it myself. I ALWAYS hate how it is styled...I look like I walked out of one of those bad hairstyling magasines from the 90s or something with a horrible bob or just...ugliness surrounding me. Today: she forgot to give me bangs so I cut them myself when I got home. My dad wondered why I would do that when I just paid someone else to cut my hair for me but again, they never get it excatly right. My mom said from now on her and I were not going to get our hair dried and styled because neither of us likes how they do it and it costs extra money for nothing. Ha ha ha to you crappy hair dressers losing money because your crappy hair stylists...I dont get why they wouldnt style it nicely... normally... something I could wear in public with pride instead of having to hang my head in shame and my outdated hairstyle. I came home and cut my bangs then rewashed my hair and it is now air drying the way I like it. Again I say, "Ha!"or in Rachel's words... "Phewy to youey." (pronounced "Foo-ee to yoo-ee") Now off to read or finish my math or whatever I want becuase it is the weekend. A long weekend. Thanksgiving weekend to be precise. *Sighs while thinking of turkey* ...

"Nothing can compete with my...stereo"

"The music's played by the madmen."

State: Gee-taar plaayin' ...That is meant to be said in a hick-ish type accent. So i suppose I'm a madman if I'm playing music...
Book: After Summer by Hailey Abbott, 63/163...Were moving much faster this time.
Music: None cuz my stereo broke last night!! I was so upset. If you have ever heard the song My First Stereo by FM Static...well I started singing the chorus in a very upset manner last night. Now it wasnt my first stereo but my attachment to it is just like in the song. Here are some of the lyrics:
"Somethin' tells me I'll never be close to another like you
helped me throught the things that we all go through.
You make every song sound better,
taught me how to write a letter
I think everyone should get along like me and my first stereo.
And you used to sing me to sleep
and always stood behind me
you saw me off when I had to go
my first true love was my first stereo
Everyone wants, everyone needs,
everyone hurts sometimes like me
It never rejects me, always accepts me
nothing can compete with my first stereo
Everyone wants, everyone needs,
nobodys perfect just like me
into the stereo is the place I go
I wonder what's playin' next on the radio?"
So as you can guess, I was very sad. Hopefully I can find someone to fix it because at the moment it wont play anything because the CDs got jammed and the gear or something is all funky. I have some CD's stuck in there! At least I have my iPod...without that I would be lost, without any music...Id be stuck playing my own I guess. Which is what i was just doing. I was playing A Plain Morning by Dashboard Confessional.
Boy: What's the point?...
Interesting thing that happened today: It was sunny out today and very happy mood was I in.

I dont have much to say...

"Praisin' our leaders were getting in tune..."

State: I have a headache.
Book: Yes it is the moment you have all been waiting for. We have moved on. Finally, I know! I am now reading After Summer by Hailey Abott. I read the first two in the series in January and just bought the 3rd one on the weekend. They are okay... 23/163. Just a shorty...
Music: None.
Boy: Meh...just crushes that amount to nothing...
Interesting thing that happened: I can think right now...Googles not working...Stupid chemistry homework makes no sense.

I just felt the need to write something but I dont really know what to write...My life is quite dull at the moment.

Here's a crazy guitar and the beautiful Wentworth Miller with his prison break tattoo and a weasel:

"Sorry my life isn't more interesting..."

"Turn our golden faces into the sun."

State: I should be at home but I slept late purposely and I told my mom that I was going to go to school after lunch but I don't think I will. I'm still tired but feeling better than I was earlier.
Book: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, page 232 out of 317. So for this from now on I'll write the book name and author when I first start is and after that Ill just write the title and then the page I'm on/ Total number of pages. Example:
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, 232/317.
Music: Yellow by Coldplay, I've kinda gotten tired of them because they are so overplayed but I like them once in a while.
Boy: Again, I cant really say. But now I am starting to feeling nervous when I think about seeing him which makes me think I actually do like him.
Interesting thing that happened today: I am not at school and I am drinking those Starbucks Frappuccino drinks. Sorry my life isn't more interesting...

I don't really have much else to say...
I think I'm going to read...I'm trying to finish that book tonight...I'll write more later if I feel like it...Oh and Michelle and I are back to normal now after having a very girly chat about boys... ;)

Fun Fun in Toronto...

"Can you imagine when this race is run?"

State: Im fine but Im kinda pissed off at my sister for being such a bitch. My mom is worried about her hanging out with a couple boys (she doesnt know one of them is my sisters boyfriend) and she doesnt really know what to do about them geing together all the time. So I tried to help out by talking to Michelle because she would usually take things better from mem but she goes all defensive and says stop acting like my mother. She is so clueless...
Book: I have a plan to finish Harry Potter hopefully this weekend or later this week. Probably won't happen but at least i have a goal...
Music: The music from this movie my sister is watching with her friend in the next room over is playing through the walls...Ooo something just went "BANG".
Boy: It's a boy I can't talk about, but I think Im really starting to like him and I dont really know what to do about it. I sound so childish saying this..."I like a boooyy..." but hey, whats a girl to do? I think Ill just wait it out and see what happens...*bites lip nervously*
Interesting thing that happened today: I ate 5 pieces of chocolate and nothing else so far today. Ive only been awake for an hour...

So yesterday we went to the university fair as you must well know by now. Ill just go through the day quickly becuase I dont really feel like typing much anymore. We all met at the bus station at 7 15 am: Me, Jess, Seana, Svetlana, Hannah, and Andrea (who is in grade 10 but wanted to come anyways) We got to Toronto at about 10 and got off at Queen St. and walked to the Convention Center. We spent about an hour actually in the U Fair and then were pretty much done so we left. Then we took the subway to the Eaton Center and shopped for a few hours. We went to H&M which Jess and I had been planning to go to together for a long time. I bought a Honey Bee bath bomb and some Lip Squeek lip balm at Lush and then we left and walked towards Kensington Market. As we were walking we stopped at a couple jewlery stands and I opened my lip balm and realized that all the balm was stuck to the lid and none in the bottom...so guess what...right next to a jewlery stand is another Lush and so I went in and tradded my lip balm for one that wasnt stuck to the lid. Then we made our way to Kensington Market. Seana wanted to look at drums. Jess had just said, "If you ever want to buy pot this is the place to come..." when we walked passed this Jamaican Guy standing outside a shop with Jamaican Flags covered in pot leaves. He turned to us and asked, "Where are you from?" and Seana just smiles and says "Peterborough" like it doesnt matter and he was totally gonna start up a conversation. Then we were like "Seana" and so she came. Now Seana isnt blonde but she had a few moments of stupidity that day. That guy was totally gonna try to sell her pot and she, being so naive and innocent, didnt even realize it. She also asked earlier when we were on the bus "what the pointy thing was" and we were like "Seana that's the CN Tower..." O MYYY...she didnt know what the CN tower was... anyways after that we walked back to the bus station and got on a bus after so confusion and came back to peterborough at around 6 30 and went straight to youth group. The End. ha ha ha... oh and I also ate a chocolate covered grasshopper...

The future is set...at least until Friday...

"Music's for the sad man."

State: Tired...not looking forward to trying to understand chemistry.
Music: Billy Jean by Micheal Jackson...I actually think he's a great artiste. He's just...sketchy...
Boy: hmmmm...I think it might have to be...Teddy Geiger at the moment...He's gorgeous in this picture (though he can be funny looking in some pics...I dont look at those) and he's got a great voice and he's really musical. He plays all the instruments and wrote all the songs on his CD Underage Thinking.
Interesting thing that happened today: I felt comfortable with what I am planning for my future, like where I'll be next year and how many university courses I'll have. I will have such a variety and it puts me in a good place to get into university, I think.

Okay so here's the lowdown. Wow I am soo cool using words like that! (; Anyways, this year Im getting 5 U courses and I need 6 to get into University. Next year I'll be taking 4 or 5 more courses. That is 9 or 10 in total!! That is soo good. This year Im getting 3U math, 4U chem, grade 12 vocals, and Ill have 4U english and two theater courses for university as well as accounting. Next year I am taking 3 and 4 U Biology, a 4U history hopefully, and one or two maths. Im going to see what courses I need for Psychology or Speech Pathology (which wouldnt be in my first year anyways) and then figure out what math to take, whether it is Calculus or Data Management or both. We shall see.
It turns out Seana is comming to the University Fair on friday after all. And so is some other girl I don't know. She has a spare at the same time as me I believe. So there will be four of us and we have to be at the bus station for like 7:15 AM. yuck! oh well...

You get pretty this time!...

"Life is a short trip."

Mood: I'm thinking of cahnging this one to state at the moment. That way I can include how Im feeling physically and not just my mood. I will do just that. So Im feeling tired because I just walked home from school and it takes about 50 minutes walking at a regular pace. You can cut it shorter if you're walking faster and add time if you're walking with friends or take a long route. I did the later when I was in grade nine because I didn't really know my way home...I prolly could have figured it out but whatever.
Music: Sadness Grows by faithlift...was my dad's CD but I stole it. It's pretty good for being made in 1993...I was 4...
Boy: Still Lucas Black, but I'll add a crush that I've had on Liam for over a year. He is in my grade and is from Wales...Sooooo Cute! He's got a great accent. *bites lip in a cute and completely unsexual way* So ya...
Interesting thing that happened today: I have an 84% in Chem! 84!!! Im so happy but yes...it is still only the first month of school. I still have 4 months left to fail...Oh! Gilmore Girls premieres tonight!! I am soo excited. And So does Veronica Mars!! my other favortie but I dont get the channel and I have choir tonight at the time it's on so I cant go to Rachel's to watch it. I would if I could but I can't so I CRY!!!...

Well that was long! I dont even really need to write anything else. I just have so much work to do lately and I quit SATB choir. For you who arent musical or go to my school, that's my school choir and SATB stands for Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone and they are the four secitons in the choir. The PCC (peterborough children's chorus) is only SAB but we split sopranos and sometimes split the guys up too. So we can have a 5 part split if we wanted. I have a vocal singing test tomorrow and I did a presentation today in that class on the changing voice. We have a demo we have to do in chemistry. I no longer have a lunch hour as they are taken up by doing vocals work, preparing for chem and going to university meetings. Im going to the University Fair in Toronto with Jess by Greyhound. I've never been on one before and Im excited to go to the fair so ya...okay I'm off to "do homework" now...

No pretty for you...too bad...

"Sitting in a sandpit..."

Mood: I am just in a suberb mood today, even if it is cloudy. My moods usually correspond with the weather and though there is some blue sky, it is mostly cloudy.
Music: Hold On (Acoustic) by Stellar Kart
Boy: Lucas Black...from The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. He's got the cutest southern accent and is quite attractive if I may say so. He is supposed to be 17 in the movie though he's actually 24. There's also this other guy but I can't talk about that here.
Interesting thing that happened today: I sang with the Westmount Bible Chaple youth worship band during the service this morning.

So we have another practice tonight in less than an hour...it's at 5:30. Let's see...there's me Emily and Seana from the picutre last time, Etienne, Vanessa, Joel, Sebastian, Malcom and Manfred. (The last two are father's and the rest are in the youth group.) This is the first time I've sang at a service with them. I came to a few practices before but was never able to sing with them before. It's lots of fun...
So anyways, about Impact. I don't really feel like writting about this but oh well...Seana and I are planning a concert and a big kick off for the christian group at our school because we are running it this year. The last couple years the group has gone downhill in a very big way so we're trying to let people know about the group. Most people had no idea the group even existed. There's alot of planning going into it all, but our principal is supportive which is incredible. So that's all for right now. I have to go in about 25 minutes...no it hasn't taken me half an hour to write thing. I tried to download a picture of Lucas Black about 4 time and it worked once but then was centered when I wanted it to be on the right so I deleted it and haven't been able to get it back on since. I'll try it again. If it doesn't work, oh well. You dont get to admire his prettiness...

Return on the Internet...

"We don't have the power, but we never say never."

Mood: Happy because my internet is working again. No stress, quite well rested. All around just pretty darn good.
Book: I read a whole 2 chapters this week.
Music: 80's Joint by Kelis
Boy: Oh my dearest Teddy...wow he has a funny name...oh well...he's just so gorgeous...
Interesting thing the happened today: I am doing my math homework. I haven't been awake all that long...Gimme' a break I haven't done much yet today.

So my dad fixed my internet which made me happy. It wasn't working since Thursaday. I dont really have much to say at the moment. I think I'll finish my math now and maybe post a bit later. Then I can talk about Seana and my plans for Impact. I'll prolly see her later today.
This is Seana and Emily:

Where are all the frisbees and picnic blankets?...

"Let us die young or let us live forever."

Mood: Happy even when I know how much stuff I have to do.
Music: It Ends Tonight by The All-American Rejects...Such a good song! Oh, how wonderful art thou, yee All-American Rejects. loveLoveLOVE!
Boy: Not really anything different here. I am a boring boy lover. Ah well...
Interesting thing that happened today: College/University Info assembly at school today. You will see why it is interesting in just a minute.

I am now panic stricken because I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I am staying at PCVS for an extra semester to get Calculus (that doesn't look like it's spelled right) and a history or something. I can't apply to university quite yet because I need one more university course. Just cuz I was stupid and didn't take biology I completely limit myself and I cant take so many courses. I might have to take grade 11 biology in grade 12+ which is really sad. But OMGOOODNESSSS AAAAAHHHHHHH...I dont know what to do!!! I am going to the University Fair in Toronto on the 29th so that might help a bit. But I am not sure if I want to do something involving history, drama, vocals, the humanities...I need biology to da anything like massage therapy...I just dont know. Maybe I should take it. I should have this year!! but i dont think i can get in it now. I might be able to do it online or like a correspondance course or something. I think I'll do that or summer school. Gah Planning my whole life at seventeen is not a picturesque walk in the park. There are no dogs catching frisbees or picninc blankets or even young couple going at it in the long grass...I want to die young so I dont have to plan my life...Forever Young would be nice at the moment...I hate growing up...

Smart teachers and focus...or a lack there of...

"Are you gonna drop the bomb or not?"

Mood: Slightly stressed, but not enough that I'm going to start on my chemistry homework.
Book: hmmm...maybe I should only write this one when I finish or start a book...I think I'll do that. It might be different when I get too busy to write anything or have more time on my hands to read.
Music: What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. Not quite suiting my attitude towards the world at the moment.
Boy: My sister has enough boys to cover my lack of interest in them at the moment.
Interesting Thing That Happened: I didn't do so well on my chemistry test.

I thought i was going to do really well...it turns out i got 26 out of 38...thats 68%. I was hoping for much better than that. Luckily, Mrs Armitage (aka Mrs A, my chem teacher) is really nice and decided to write our marks out of 36. So that evens out to 72% in the end which makes me happy I guess. Originally she marked one of the questions wrong and I only had 66% which on top of everything almost made me break down. I dont think I am going to be in the school choir anymore because it is too much. Mrs Vanderbank (aka Mrs V) who teachers my vocals class runs the choir and when I told her I might not be able to she seemed so indifferent that it just really made me not was to stay in. It kinda pissed me off. That's so not what I need right now. The least she could have done was pretended to care whether I was in it or not. As much as I love Mrs V, she can be a real bitch sometimes. I mean it's not like I wanted her to fall to her knees and beg me to stay or anything, just to even show to expression on her face, instead of the whatever-i-wouldn't-care-even-if-you-fell-to-the-floor-and-rithed-in-pain-from-some-incurable-disease-you-had-been-diagnosed-with look. Is that even a really look? Oh well. I am also starting to very much dislike me math teacher, Mr Edwards. He doesnt have a nickname cuz I dont really like him. He doesnt seem to be able to understand anything and me and Tamara are thinking about teaching the class ourselves, though no one would learn anything cuz I am not the best at math. Okay well I should really be starting on the chem hwk. Ahh I dont wanna!! DONT MAKE ME DO IT!!! Well, at least I have choir to look forward to. I'm part of the Peterborough Youth Choir which is the eldest choir in the Peterborough Children's Chorus. There are 3 choirs and we do a christmas concert and a spring concert. You can visit the site HERE . We are actually really good, not meaning to be cocky. We work hard and have a great director, Maureen Harris-Lowe. Anyways...chem hoework...haha hoe work. Keep focused Sara...

Too much!!...

"Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst."

Mood: Slightly better than a minute ago when I was having a bit of an anxiety attack.
Book: Still the 3rd Harry Potter.
Music: Silence...I need it.
Boy: Who cares right now. I have too much else to worry about.
Interesting thing that happened today: I think I did well on a chemistry test.

Today's quote is so fitting. Im hoping everything will work out, but Im prepared to have it all come crashing down on top of me and crush my bones until all thats left is a pile of dust that floats away on the wind, finally giving me the peace that I so long for. Oh...so dramatic! Anyways, my plate is way too full, hence the Too much!!! I'm not going to go list it all but there is school work and choirs and I just had to cancel my G2 test which was schedueled for the 21st of September for the past month. Now I'm going on October 26 I believe. Probably should check that. Me and my friend Seana are running this year's Impact group at our school. It's the christian group. Were are trying to put together this concert and a thing called The Booth, which I wont describe now, in about 3 weeks or something. Anyways, there's just alot I need to be doing. Plus, these personal stuff I need to deal with and I cant do it all...I just cant...

Tomorrow's a new day...I need sleep...Goodnight...

Teddy and Curious George...

"We're only watching the sky."

  1. Mood: Relatively pleasent and no longer slightly pissed that my internet sucks because, at the moment, it is working.
  2. Book: Re-reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling.
  3. Music: Shadowland by Youth Group
  4. Boy: Teddy Dunn who, to my great distress and sadness, is no longer going to play Duncan Kane in Veronica Mars, only the best show ever.
  5. Interesting Event: My sister was begging me to let her organise my closet. Weird...

Yesterday I finally bought a pencil case because I had none and was using a plastic ziplock back. A couple of my friends were saying that I was wasting plastic and harming the earth or something along those lines. So I bought one. It's acutally slightly cheesy but it's really cute. It's a purple Curious George one on which he is being messy and there are spilled paint cans and painty hand prints on it. George and his name are kinda puffy and plastic. Does that make sense...Can you picutre it? Hmmm maybe I'll take a picture for you. Yes I'll do that.

So this is it <---. Anyways that acutally took about half an hour just to load that and the pic of Teddy so I'm going to leave it today because I really need to study for my chemistry test and I wanted to go for a walk because it's gogeous out. Not a cloud in the little section of the sky I can see from my window with my view that is obstructed by plants and trees. No wait...there's one, one cloud...two..three...okay so there's clouds in the sky. Oh well, it's still nice out. So I'll write more later.

Structure...

"Heaven can wait."

I think I might skip the chorus or at least not type forever young 3 times in a row. And I won't repeat the chorus either.

Now about structure...I think that if I have some sort or structure to my blog, as in what I'm going to type about, I might be more inclined to post more often. Now I am allowing myself to write randomly and whatever I want, but I want to ad a couple sections that I always have for yours and my entertainment. More so mine. So the categories are (and I'm not neccesarily going to write extensively about these categories. It could be as much as one word.) :
  1. Mood at the time of post. (Self explanitory?)
  2. What book I'm reading at the moment. (I will most likely just right the title and author and tell about what I thought after I finish it.)
  3. What song I'm listening to. (Again it will most likely be brief unless I feel like going into detail, which I just might.)
  4. Boy of the moment. (Could be celebrity or otherwise. This is just because I tend to be fickle about my infatuations.)
  5. Interesting thing that happened today. (Again...self explanitory.)

We'll see what else happens. I will quite possibly add more. So I'll start each post off with that and the quote. Im going to stop here and write another post with the categories included.

Ideas...

"Let's dance in style. Let's dance for a while."

Okay so I had this idea whilst listening to Forever Young by Youth Group which this blog is named after. So I said to myself, "Sara, why dont you start each post off with a line from the song?" And so that is what I am going to do. I'll go in order and write a new line of the song every week. Sure it isn't that creative, but it gives me more to fill these lines up with and more for you to read. And it could even be inspirational to you. So I'm just going to go ahead and give myself a little pat on the back for that brilliant idea and you can congradulate me later. :)

Welcome to Forever Young

Hello! Welcome to my brand spankin' new blog site. My name is Sara(h) and I will be your host for the evening. Or morning depending on where you are. The reason for the '(h)' is that my name is legally spelled with an 'h' as in that's what my parents named me, but I usually spell it without because it's quicker and easier. So it doesnt really matter how you spell it.

This is me: -------------------->

I don't usually look so strange, but I have a tendency to pose or make a weird face when a camera appears.

So I just got the incling to create this blog because I was thinking about how lazy I am. Meaning: I would never write in this because I would forget about it and be lazy and not want to write anything. It doesnt really make sense to me either. Oh well... Anyways, the reason I named it forever young was:
1. I love the song Forever Young by Youth Group

2. I thought it sounded good.

3. .....

Well, I kinda got ahead of myself with the whole reasons for naming the blog and only had actually thought of the first reason. I also really like the song name as a blog name. I might change it to whatever I'm listening to at the moment depending on my mood and the appropriateness of the song title. For example, at the moment Im listening to Billy by James Blunt and you cant really name a blog Billy. Much more thought will go into than that. But for now we will stick with forever young and you will just have to deal with it. If you happening to be listening to a super duper amazing song and want me to hear it, tell me. I think I have allowed anyone to be able to comment. I havent used blogger in a while so Im still remembering everything. Hope you find me entertaining...
